The built-in chip allows authentication with an NFC-enabled smartphone. This automatically activates a live stream from space - as long as the ISS is on the Earth's “day side” which is the case every 45 minutes. Otherwise, a countdown to the next live broadcast is shown and other NASA video footage. In addition, information about the rocket’s mission and from which part of the rocket the material comes from can be explored through the dedicated page.
